The global oil price is sky rocketing. Each day it is setting new records.... Where will all this end? What are the options for India?

I hope some company will come up with a viable renewable/alternative energy source. The oil companies and car companies are doing all they can to halt any such research... as they want to take the maximum profit for their investments

Brazil is using alternative energy fo rrunning automobiles. They are successful that 95% of their cars are not using gasoline.
